Time for Another Season of Shows at the Capitol Center for the Arts!
Time for another season of shows at the Capitol Center for the Arts!
While much has changed in the past eighteen months, as everyone isolated themselves from everyday social interactions and whiled away the time at home, it brought into sharp relief just how much joy in life was foregone in the name of health and safety. Our two venues, the Chubb Theatre and Bank of New Hampshire Stage, were closed for months at a time, seeing only occasional use as we waited out the pandemic.
The move to reopen and mount a full season of entertainment has not been easy but as this is being written there are 91 shows on sale now for our two venues with many more waiting to be announced. Whether you like national touring acts like The Buddy Holly Story, Patty Griffin with Gregory Alan Isakov, Chevy Chase, The Psychedelic Furs or local/regional music like Jocelyn & Chirs, Bad Bad Hats, Lez Zeppelin, jamAntics we have a lineup of shows that you will want to check out.
Many of the venues in NH, including ours, have improved our indoor air quality with upgraded HVAC systems, added contact-free purchases, and have instituted a variety of safety protocols. When you feel ready to return and see a show or two, we will be here to welcome you.
