An introduction to hand drum techniques and rhythms of West African and Afro-Caribbean styles that laid the foundation for much of the popular music we know and love today. The drum circle is a very powerful, even trance-like experience that is essential to the tradition that has handed down these styles and techniques. Bring your own hand drum or play one of PMAC’s drums. All levels are welcome!
